Oak & Stone Brings Crave-Worthy Pizza and Burgers to Leander

Oak & Stone is bringing a new reason to show up hungry in Leander. Planned for 516 E. San Gabriel Parkway, Suite 190, at Northline, the restaurant pairs artisan pizza and piled-high burgers with a self-pour tap-wall experience. This is the kind of menu that makes “let’s just split an appetizer” sound like an opening offer.

Oak & Stone starts with pizza worth planning around

Founded in Sarasota, Florida, in 2016, Oak & Stone built its concept around a relaxed place to eat, drink, and spend time together. Its food gives a group plenty of reasons to settle in.

The brand’s lunch and dinner menu starts its stone-fired pizzas with handcrafted dough fermented for 36 hours. Sweet Heat layers pepperoni and capicola with pickled jalapeños and hot honey. Fun Guy takes a richer route with roasted mushrooms, cheeses, truffle oil, and arugula.

That gives the table a useful dilemma: go sweet and spicy, or order something earthy and savory? Bringing someone willing to trade a slice seems like a good strategy.

Cheesesteak egg rolls and a burger that needs both hands

Oak & Stone’s Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls tuck shaved ribeye, onions, and cheese into a shareable starter. The jumbo pretzel comes with beer cheese and spicy mustard, while wings range from Bourbon Sticky to Blackened Hot Honey.

Then there is the Griddle Burger: smash patties with melted cheddar blend, onion straws, lettuce, and the restaurant’s secret sauce. The Crispy Grouper BLT adds another option, combining cornflake-crusted fish with candied bacon and remoulade. These are current brand-menu examples; Leander’s final selections have not yet been announced.

One look at Oak & Stone’s burger makes a strong case for ordering your own entrée. Melted cheese, a tangle of crisp onions, and a bun holding everything together—some meals require extra napkins before the first bite.

The self-pour tap wall is another signature of the brand. Oak & Stone describes rotating beer, wine, and cocktail selections, with offerings varying by location. Guests can explore a small pour before deciding what they want more of.

At its McKinney restaurant, the company explains that customers choose their pour size and pay for what they dispense. Leander’s exact tap count and lineup remain details to watch. The appeal is the opportunity to try something unfamiliar alongside a familiar favorite from the kitchen.

Save room for the chocolate bourbon cake

Oak & Stone’s dessert menu makes a convincing argument against ending the meal early. Its Chocolate Bourbon Cake brings together bourbon-soaked chocolate layers, salted caramel buttercream, and chocolate ganache.

Other sweet choices include caramel cheesecake, peanut butter cheesecake, and banana pudding with wafers and butter rum caramel. A slice for the table sounds reasonable. Whether everyone actually shares is a separate question.

Where and when is Oak & Stone opening?

The Leander project registration lists a $1.75 million renovation of 5,827 square feet in Northline Retail, Block D. Its estimated construction schedule runs from October 31 through December 31, 2026. That completion target is not a confirmed opening date.

For Leander, Oak & Stone adds a dining destination to look forward to at Northline. Come for a pizza, leave room for cake, and bring someone who takes sharing food as seriously as you do.
