French Florist plans a new flower shop at 18145 Ronald Reagan Blvd., Suite 140, in Leander. A state construction filing lists a $175,000 interior finish-out for the 1,566-square-foot space at Shops on Ronald Reagan. Work is scheduled to begin December 1, 2026, and finish June 1, 2027. The company has not announced an opening date.
The tenant-funded project will turn an existing retail shell into a florist shop. The Brown Group of Georgetown is listed as the design firm. Beyond the filing, the shopping center’s leasing plan provides another sign of what is coming: it already labels a space for the flower retailer.
French Florist joins Shops on Reagan
Hunington Properties markets the 18,260-square-foot center at the southwest corner of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Gabriels Horn Road. The property sits at the entrance to Valley Vista, giving the planned shop a neighborhood setting along the Ronald Reagan corridor.
The site plan places French Florist beside Satya Smiles and a 1,000-square-foot space marked available. It also lists Domino’s, Skip’s, Desi Bites, Kumon and Sherwin-Williams. That mix brings flowers into a center with dining, shopping and everyday services.
Flowers for milestones and everyday moments
With roots dating to 1978, the floral company has grown into a boutique network with locations in multiple states. Its offerings range from roses and orchids to mixed bouquets, tropical flowers and vase arrangements.
Customers can shop by occasion, including birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy and get-well wishes. For those who would rather leave the flower choices to a professional, designer’s-choice arrangements let the florist build a bouquet around the occasion and sentiment.
The company also offers flower subscriptions. Together, those options serve both milestone celebrations and smaller gestures, from a thank-you gift to flowers for the dining table. Specific services and delivery coverage for Leander have not yet been announced.
French Florist expands its Austin-area presence
The company already has an Austin West location at 3801 Bee Cave Road, Suite 140, in West Lake Hills. That shop offers same-day flower delivery and has posted weekday and Saturday store hours.
The Leander project would add another local storefront farther north. Its planned home combines a neighborhood shopping center with access along Ronald Reagan Boulevard, bringing a dedicated flower shop to the Valley Vista entrance.
