A shopping trip, a coffee stop and a taco run could soon share the same stretch of East U.S. 377. New Taco Bell Granbury plans place the restaurant at 4115 E. U.S. Highway 377, joining a retail development that brings together Academy Sports + Outdoors, Hobby Lobby, Texas Roadhouse and 7 Brew.
For Granbury residents, the addition is another sign of how much activity is taking shape along the corridor. Larger stores anchor the development, while restaurant and coffee sites give shoppers more reasons to stop along its highway frontage.
Taco Bell is already part of the city’s dining scene. The company’s official Granbury directory lists an existing restaurant at 835 East Highway 377. This new project would extend that local presence farther along the highway.
Where the Taco Bell Granbury Project Fits
The development site plan puts Taco Bell on a highway-facing pad near 7 Brew, with Texas Roadhouse farther along the frontage. Behind those smaller sites, Academy and Hobby Lobby occupy the larger retail buildings across a broad parking area.
That layout helps explain the appeal of the location: a quick meal or coffee can become part of a trip for sporting goods, home décor or other shopping. Taco Bell adds another dining choice to the mix without duplicating the sit-down restaurant experience planned nearby.
The plan also shows a 0.93-acre commercial pad still available. Even with several recognizable names on the drawing, there is room for another business to join the development.
A New Restaurant, With Two Different Timelines
The Taco Bell Granbury project calls for a 2,248-square-foot ground-up restaurant. Registered plans value the construction scope at $1.25 million and currently schedule work from October through December 2026.
The developer’s site plan points to a later customer-facing milestone. Its Taco Bell pad is labeled “OPEN 3/27,” indicating a March 2027 target on that plan. That is development-plan timing, not an opening date announced by Taco Bell, and it is separate from the registered construction schedule.
The same drawing targets October 2026 for the two larger retailers and December 2026 for Texas Roadhouse and 7 Brew. Taken together, those targets suggest a development intended to fill in over several months, rather than open all at once. The dates remain planning targets.
Another Stop Along a Growing Retail Corridor
For shoppers, the practical change is the growing variety of stops within one development. A center built around larger stores is also making room for quick-service food, coffee and a sit-down meal, with another pad still to fill.
The new restaurant follows other dining investment in the city, including Granbury’s plans for its first Rosa’s Café. Taco Bell brings a familiar name to this particular retail cluster as East U.S. 377 continues adding places to shop and eat.
