The Toasted Yolk is bringing a new reason to make brunch plans in Manor. The breakfast-and-lunch café is planned for 11910 US Hwy 290, Building S2, Suite 220, at Manor Crossing Shopping Center. Think biscuits under sausage gravy, something sweet for the table, and a meal worth sitting down for.

The Toasted Yolk makes mornings a social occasion

Chris Milton and Mathew DeMott opened the first Toasted Yolk Café in 2010. Their idea, described in the company’s story, was to give breakfast and lunch the food, drinks, and lively atmosphere of a proper outing.

That approach gives the planned Manor café a clear appeal. It is a place to put on the list for catching up with friends, taking family out, or turning an ordinary lunch break into something a little more enjoyable.

Biscuits, brisket, and a sweet start

The Toasted Yolk’s breakfast menu makes choosing just one dish a challenge. The Cowboy Scramble brings together biscuits, three breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, and sausage gravy. The Brisket Scramble goes another direction, pairing smoked brisket with eggs, jalapeños, cheddar, and queso.

Its “Arnolds” put several spins on eggs Benedict. The Southern Fried Arnold uses biscuits and chicken tenders beneath poached eggs and gravy. For a sweet start, the churro-style cake donuts come with cinnamon sugar and caramel for dipping.

Even the namesake dish has a little personality: The Toasted Yolk puts eggs into the centers of grilled sourdough slices. Add a breakfast meat and choose grits or hashbrown casserole to round it out. These are examples from the brand’s current menu; Manor’s opening menu has not yet been announced.

The Toasted Yolk has lunch covered, too

The brand’s lunch menu stacks its Club Sandwich with ham, Cajun turkey, bacon, two cheeses, lettuce, and tomato on grilled sourdough. It is the kind of layered sandwich that calls for both hands.

Other choices include a fried chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun, a pastrami Reuben, and soup-and-sandwich combinations. That variety helps when one person wants breakfast and another is already thinking about lunch.

The Toasted Yolk also makes drinks part of the experience. Its current drink menu ranges from cold brew and caramel macchiatos to fruit-flavored mimosas and a signature Bloody Mary. There is room for a coffee-and-conversation visit as well as a longer brunch.

Where is The Toasted Yolk opening in Manor?

The Manor Crossing location will occupy 3,927 square feet. The state project registration lists an $850,000 tenant build-out, scheduled from September 14 through December 14, 2026. The completion date is a construction estimate, not a confirmed opening day.

For Manor diners, the draw is a new daytime gathering spot with plenty to order beyond the usual eggs and toast. The Toasted Yolk gives brunch plans a delicious place to start.
