Planet Fitness Fate is coming soon, giving the city’s growing I-30 commercial corridor a new destination for workouts. The brand is preparing its first Fate gym at 4900 E. I-30, with plans for a 21,846-square-foot fitness center inside existing tenant shell space.
The project adds a substantial non-restaurant use to an area seeing continued retail development. For residents, it means a new option for fitting exercise into an everyday routine closer to home.

Planet Fitness Fate Has Direct Brand Confirmation
Planet Fitness’s official Fate page already identifies the club as coming soon and lists its location at the northeast corner of I-30 and Water Tower Road. The company is inviting residents to sign up for updates ahead of a future presale.
That company listing gives the project more substance than an early construction clue. Planet Fitness lists Fate separately from nearby clubs, supporting the first-to-Fate story as the new location moves toward buildout.
A Larger Fitness Destination Along I-30
Property owner TDG-Fate Village LLC has been involved in ongoing retail development along this portion of I-30, including new shell construction around the same address. The gym would turn a sizable amount of tenant space into an active business serving repeat customers.
The Planet Fitness Fate project illustrates how the corridor’s growth extends beyond places to shop or grab a meal. A gym adds a different type of regular destination, with visits built around morning workouts, after-work stops and weekend routines.
The available records do not establish which specific earlier shell project matches the gym’s footprint. The confirmed scope is an interior buildout of existing tenant shell space, rather than a separate ground-up gym building.
What Planet Fitness Fate Plans to Offer
The company’s Fate page describes a club with cardio and strength equipment, locker rooms and a PF Black Card Spa. It also highlights fitness training included with membership, keeping the brand’s emphasis on approachable exercise relevant to new gym users.
Planet Fitness calls its environment the Judgement Free Zone. For Fate, the local story is the addition of a recognizable fitness concept with a substantial footprint along one of the city’s main commercial routes.
