Frisco Development At A Glance

Frisco, Texas construction and development continues to reshape one of North Texas’ fastest-evolving economic and entertainment centers. From restaurants and retailers to housing, corporate campuses, mixed-use districts, sports and major destination projects, Texas Construction Media is tracking what’s being planned and built across Frisco.

We follow projects from the earliest stages — including permits, filings and site plans — through groundbreaking, construction and grand opening. When a new restaurant starts building, a retailer announces plans or another major development begins taking shape, we’re following the story.

Frisco sits north of Dallas across Collin and Denton counties, with the Dallas North Tollway, Sam Rayburn Tollway and U.S. 380 providing major connections throughout the region. Those transportation corridors helped transform what was once a small railroad community into a major employment and residential center. Today, Frisco is home to professional sports organizations, corporate offices, major shopping destinations and entertainment venues serving visitors from across North Texas.

The scale of development continues to grow. PGA of America anchors a 600-acre mixed-use destination with championship golf and the Omni PGA Frisco Resort, while the northern Dallas North Tollway corridor is attracting projects such as Fields West and other major commercial investment. Frisco is also building Grand Park, which is planned to ultimately span more than 1,000 acres from the tollway toward Lake Lewisville.
