Walmart in Liberty Hill has new construction details on file, including a Supercenter and a separate fuel station on Ronald W. Reagan Boulevard. The two registrations list a combined $12.392 million in estimated construction costs, with proposed completion on November 11, 2027.
The 176,246-square-foot Supercenter is planned at 19699 Ronald W. Reagan Boulevard. Its filing lists a $12.2 million estimate and an October 26, 2026 construction start. The fuel station has its own address, scope and schedule. Neither filing establishes a confirmed opening date.
Walmart in Liberty Hill anchors a larger shopping destination
The store will anchor Santa Rita Ranch Center, a planned $100 million, 400,000-square-foot commercial development. Shopping Center Business reported that Provident Realty Advisors signed Walmart as the anchor tenant.
The center will bring shopping to the Highway 29 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard junction. Santa Rita Ranch’s announcement identifies Walmart as the center’s first major retailer, with groceries, household essentials and pharmacy services planned.

The leasing graphic shows Walmart within a larger arrangement of restaurant pads, shop space and additional retail sites. It helps explain the scale of the proposal: the Supercenter is one part of a broader shopping destination.
Restaurants planned alongside Walmart in Liberty Hill
Santa Rita Ranch’s August 2026 announcement names LongHorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden and Bubba’s 33 among the dining destinations planned within the center. Those are developer-announced plans; the Walmart filings do not establish construction or opening dates for the restaurants.
The marketing plan also labels Ross and PetSmart. Those labels indicate leasing plans and should not be treated as confirmed opening announcements.
For nearby households, the proposed combination would put groceries, general merchandise and dining options in one area. Santa Rita Ranch describes Walmart as the first major retailer announced for the center and projects more than 400 jobs from the store alone. That figure is a developer projection, not a current hiring count.
A separate fuel station for Walmart in Liberty Hill
The fuel station is planned at 19883 Ronald W. Reagan Boulevard. Its registration lists 1,511 square feet, an estimated $192,000 construction cost and an October 20, 2026 start. Its proposed completion matches the Supercenter’s November 2027 target.

The filing does not specify a pump count. The listed square footage and construction estimate apply to that registration and should not be read as a complete measure of the fuel site or total development investment.
What the new filings add
The two filings put specific construction details behind Walmart in Liberty Hill: a 176,246-square-foot store, a separate fuel station and a shared completion target. Together, they mark a substantial retail addition along Ronald Reagan Boulevard. Read more Liberty Hill Stories.
Both projects list Wal-Mart Real Estate Business Trust as owner and Core States Group as the design firm. They are privately funded and registered as TABS2027001016 for the store and TABS2027001019 for the fuel station.
The two filings’ combined $12.392 million estimate covers their registered construction scopes. The $100 million figure reported for Santa Rita Ranch Center describes the broader development. Registration does not confirm that work has started, and the proposed completion dates remain subject to change.
