Laundry day could get a new stop along Westheimer Road. LaundroLab Houston expansion plans call for a 3,625-square-foot location at 12280 Westheimer Road, bringing the growing brand’s modern machines, attended stores and technology-focused approach deeper into west Houston.
This is another addition to an existing local footprint. LaundroLab’s official location directory already lists operating stores at Mission Bend, Houston–Shenandoah and Northside. Westheimer would give customers another place to tackle a household chore that never stays finished for long.

The word “washateria” in the construction filing tells only part of the story. LaundroLab’s store concept combines self-service laundry with modern equipment, bright interiors and on-site staff. Its mobile payment options let customers pay through an app rather than build their plans around a pocketful of quarters.
For example, the brand promotes machine-availability checks and notifications when a cycle finishes. It also offers wash-dry-fold service, allowing customers to leave a load with staff and return for clean, folded clothes. Those features describe the broader concept; the final Westheimer service mix has not been announced.
The practical appeal of LaundroLab Houston is straightforward: customers can choose between doing the washing themselves and handing the chore over. A new nearby location could make either option easier to fit around work, errands or a weekend already full of other plans.
A national franchise adds another Houston address
LaundroLab has expanded through franchising, with stores across multiple states. The Westheimer project would extend that model within a Houston market where the brand already has an operating presence.
Its planned size also fits the company’s usual format. At 3,625 square feet, the new location falls within LaundroLab’s preferred range of roughly 3,000–4,000 square feet. The project therefore fits the footprint the franchise seeks as it enters additional neighborhoods.

Work is currently scheduled from November 2026 through May 2027. May is a construction completion target, not an announced opening date. A separate announcement will be needed before customers can plan a first visit.
