The project appears to represent Frost’s first financial center in Waxahachie. The bank’s current location information does not show an existing Waxahachie financial center, making the planned location a potential local debut for the Texas bank.

Frost Bank Waxahachie Plans Put BJ’s Next Door
The BJ’s connection helps explain where the new bank fits into the corridor. City planning records place Frost immediately east of the BJ’s property. Private drive aisles associated with the development would provide connections toward US 77 and Hedgewood Drive.
For residents, that puts the planned financial center within the same commercial setting as a major shopping destination. A banking stop and a shopping trip could become part of the same outing, using the development’s shared circulation routes.
Those access details also make the site more than a dot on a highway map. The bank would connect with the surrounding development through its private drives, tying the project into the larger retail area as the US 77 corridor continues to expand.
A Closer Look at the Financial Center’s Design
The Frost Bank Waxahachie architectural elevations provide a direct look at the proposed building. They show a low-profile financial center with a taller stone-clad section carrying Frost’s name, broad window areas and a mix of stucco and silver metal panels.
The north elevation also shows the motor-bank canopy extending from the building. Together, the drawings explain how the customer-facing financial center and covered drive-through area form one project.
Waxahachie previously reviewed the project through ZDC-181-2025, with a detailed site plan and architectural elevations. The city’s March 24, 2026 Planning and Zoning meeting record lists the case, providing a public reference for that review.

Frost Bank Waxahachie Layout Includes Four Motor-Bank Lanes
City planning materials call for a 5,390-square-foot financial center with four drive-through motor-bank lanes. The layout includes stacking capacity for approximately 20 vehicles and 41 parking spaces.
That provides space for both customers parking to go inside and those using the motor bank. The stacking area is the room set aside for vehicles waiting their turn in the drive-through lanes, a useful distinction from the separate parking supply.
The Frost Bank Waxahachie plans offer a fuller picture than the construction filing alone. For example, the drawings show the building’s appearance, motor-bank arrangement and access routes, helping explain how the new location would work.
A $10 Million Addition to the US 77 Corridor
The registered construction value is $10 million, with work currently scheduled from October 2026 through September 2027. Those dates describe the construction schedule, not an announced opening date.
