Pick a hat, find your colors and give it a little personality. Fort Worth-based Wild Knox is taking that hands-on approach to western style into a larger retail setting at Marine Central. The Wild Knox Fort Worth expansion is planned for 1364 N. Main Street, joining the first wave of tenants bringing new activity to historic North Main.
The new 3,628-square-foot space builds on a business that already knows its hometown. Wild Knox operates a physical Hat Room at 914 N. Sylvania Avenue and has built much of its following through mobile hat-bar events. Marine Central adds a substantially larger North Main retail setting to that story.

A Hat Bar Where the Details Are Yours
At Wild Knox, choosing the hat is only the beginning. Customers can personalize a piece through styling, bands, accessories and other custom touches. The brand’s hat and accessory collections include fabric bands, feathers, pins and branding options, offering plenty of ways to take a hat in a personal direction.
Start with a neutral shade and keep the details subtle, or let a brighter color lead the way. A band changes the look around the crown. An accessory adds a focal point. Branding gives the finished piece another detail that feels distinctly yours.

That process makes the visit part of the purchase. Friends can compare colors, try different combinations and watch an idea turn into something they can wear out the door. A simple shopping trip becomes a chance to make a hat with a story attached.
Wild Knox Fort Worth Builds on Its Local Roots
Wild Knox has taken its traveling hat bar to events, bringing hats and accessories to customers. Its existing Hat Room also gives small groups a place to gather in Fort Worth for a guided customization experience.
In its description of the Hat Room, the company explains that a lead stylist walks guests through the available options. That personal guidance helps turn a wall of possibilities into a finished piece a customer feels good wearing.
The Sylvania location is an important part of the expansion story. Wild Knox already has both event experience and a physical Fort Worth presence. The Marine Central project takes that established concept into a larger retail space; the plans do not establish a closure of the existing Hat Room.
A Fresh Chapter for Historic North Main
Marine Central gives Wild Knox a setting with its own story to tell. The development is repositioning a collection of older commercial properties along North Main Street in Fort Worth’s Northside. Wild Knox is among the first announced retail tenants, alongside other locally oriented concepts.
Property owner Gyant Marine LLC has previously moved forward with facade improvements and white-box retail work at 1364 N. Main and nearby properties. Those improvements prepare older spaces for businesses to build out their own interiors and welcome customers.
Fort Worth also approved Historic and Cultural overlays covering several of the Gyant Marine properties along this stretch. Together, the preservation designations and building improvements give Marine Central an adaptive-reuse angle: bringing renewed purpose to an existing commercial street.
For readers following Fort Worth’s development, Wild Knox offers a concrete example of what that reinvestment can bring. The building work creates room for a local business, and the hat-bar experience gives customers a reason to spend time there.
What the Marine Central Plans Include
The Wild Knox Fort Worth tenant buildout covers 3,628 square feet at 1364 N. Main Street, with a registered construction value of $150,000. Work is currently scheduled from October 2026 through March 2027. That schedule covers construction and is not an announced opening date.
The draw for shoppers will be the finished experience: a western hat, a set of personal choices and a new North Main destination where putting an outfit together can become an outing of its own.
