Greenville’s growing I-30 corridor is about to get a little sweeter.
Nothing Bundt Cakes is preparing to open a new bakery at 4008 I-30, Suite A, bringing the popular cake brand to Greenville for what appears to be its first location in the city.
The bakery will join new development taking shape along the interstate, adding another recognizable name to an area already attracting new restaurants, retail and entertainment.
A New Cake Shop for Greenville
Nothing Bundt Cakes has built its business around one dessert, but in plenty of different sizes.
Customers can choose from traditional Bundt Cakes, personal-sized Bundtlets and bite-sized Bundtinis. The bakery also offers decorated cakes for birthdays, graduations, weddings, holidays and other celebrations.
Popular flavors include Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Red Velvet, White Chocolate Raspberry, Lemon, Confetti and Classic Vanilla, while seasonal flavors rotate throughout the year.
The company started in Las Vegas in 1997 and has since grown to more than 550 bakeries across the United States and Canada.
Now, Greenville appears to be next.
Nothing Bundt Cakes currently lists locations across North Texas, including nearby communities such as Rockwall, Forney, Rowlett and Sherman. Greenville, however, is not currently listed among the company’s operating Texas bakeries.
More Growth Along Greenville’s I-30 Corridor
The new bakery is also arriving as this section of Greenville continues to attract major investment.
Nearby KB Krossing II is becoming a growing destination for dining and entertainment. Chiloso Mexican Bistro is preparing a new restaurant within the development, while Cinemark Gamescape represents a much larger addition to the area.
Gamescape combines movie theaters with bowling, arcade-style games and restaurant service, creating a nearly 77,000-square-foot entertainment destination.
That means Greenville isn’t simply adding another cake shop. The surrounding area is steadily building a mix of places to eat, shop and spend an evening — and Nothing Bundt Cakes will add a dessert option to that growing lineup.
Construction Planned Through December
Plans for Nothing Bundt Cakes call for a 1,700-square-foot first-generation build-out, meaning the bakery will move into newly created commercial space rather than replacing a previous tenant.
The project carries an estimated construction cost of $280,500.
Work is currently scheduled to begin September 15 and wrap up around December 15, 2026.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
Once the doors open, Greenville residents won’t have to head toward another North Texas city to pick up the brand’s signature cakes — they’ll have a Nothing Bundt Cakes of their own along I-30.
