Anna is about to get a little more tropical.
Bahama Buck’s is preparing to open its first Anna location at 1004 W. Rosamond Parkway, Suite 600, inside the Shops at Shadowbend.
Plans call for a $400,000 build-out of a 1,717-square-foot space. Construction is scheduled to begin October 17, 2026, with completion currently targeted for May 1, 2027.
And considering where this one is going, Bahama Buck’s may have found a pretty sweet spot in town.
Bahama Buck’s Heads to Anna
The new Bahama Buck’s will join the Shops at Shadowbend, a new retail development near West Crossing Boulevard and Rosamond Parkway.
The location also happens to sit directly across from Anna High School.
So, yeah. Those blenders might be getting quite the after-school workout.
For Anna, the project also brings another recognizable Texas brand into a community that continues to attract new restaurants and retailers as it grows.
From Lubbock to More Than 100 Locations
Bahama Buck’s started with a small shop in Lubbock, Texas, in 1990.
The concept was simple: create a tropical escape centered around finely shaved ice and a seemingly endless selection of flavors.
Since then, the Texas-born company has expanded to more than 100 locations while keeping its signature Sno at the center of the menu.
And there are a lot of ways to build one.
Customers can choose from dozens of flavors, ranging from fruity and tropical options to sweeter dessert-inspired combinations. Then, they can add toppings or choose one of the company’s specialty Sno creations.
Basically, walking into Bahama Buck’s and saying “surprise me” could get dangerous pretty quickly.
There’s More Than Shaved Ice
Despite the name Bahama Buck’s has built around its Sno, shaved ice isn’t the only thing coming to Anna.
The menu also includes Island Smoothies, with fruit and cream-based combinations available in a variety of flavors.
Customers can also grab açaí bowls, which combine açaí with fruit, granola and other toppings.
Meanwhile, Bahama Buck’s has expanded its drink lineup with Bahama Sodas and Red Bull Infusions for customers looking for something different from the frozen side of the menu.
That gives the Anna shop considerably more to work with than simply being a place to grab shaved ice during the summer.
Although, let’s be serious.
When a North Texas afternoon hits triple digits, the Sno is probably going to win.
Another New Addition for Growing Anna
The Bahama Buck’s project comes as Anna continues experiencing rapid residential and commercial growth.
New development has steadily brought more restaurants, retailers and services closer to residents who previously had to travel into surrounding Collin County communities for many options.
Now, Bahama Buck’s is joining that growth.
The Shops at Shadowbend gives the company a location along one of Anna’s developing commercial corridors, while Anna High School sits immediately across the street.
An official opening date has not been announced yet. However, the current construction schedule calls for the project to wrap up by May 2027.
Bottom line — Anna is getting another Texas favorite. Bahama Buck’s is officially on the way, bringing its huge lineup of Sno, smoothies and tropical treats to the Shops at Shadowbend.
