JETSET Pilates Georgetown is moving from a Texas expansion target to a planned studio at Shops at Bluebonnet Plaza. The Miami-born brand named Georgetown in its growth plans in 2024; a new construction filing now outlines a 2,214-square-foot studio with an estimated $400,000 buildout and a February 2027 construction-completion target.

That gives a physical next step to a plan roughly two years in the making. JETSET’s official Georgetown location page still identifies the studio as Coming Soon.

JETSET Pilates Georgetown: A Plan Two Years in the Making

In its August 2024 Texas expansion announcement, JETSET celebrated its first Texas studio in McKinney and described ambitions for approximately 20 locations statewide. Georgetown, Round Rock and New Braunfels were among the markets the company specifically identified.

The announcement also outlined three franchise deals in the Austin area. Georgetown was therefore part of a broader Texas strategy well before the current tenant-improvement filing appeared.

Today, the brand’s official GTX location page supplies a Georgetown address, while the construction registration identifies Shops at Bluebonnet Plaza as the facility. Together, those records move the story beyond a general market target.

From a Miami Studio to a Franchise Network

Founder Tamara Galinsky launched JETSET Pilates in Miami in 2010, with its original studio in South of Fifth. According to JETSET’s brand history, she discovered Pilates while living in London after having her first daughter. After moving to Miami, she wanted a more challenging workout than the traditional Pilates experiences she encountered.

That search shaped the JETSET Method. The company began franchising in 2022, turning an established Miami concept into a much faster-growing network.

An April 2026 opening announcement from Hub RTP described more than 300 JETSET studios open or in development across the United States and Australia. That combined figure includes planned studios; it is not a count of operating locations.

What JETSET Pilates Georgetown Will Bring

JETSET builds its instructor-led classes around custom reformer machines, controlled movements, choreography and music. Sessions run approximately 50 minutes, with continuous transitions between exercises forming a central part of the experience.

For Georgetown customers, the planned business is a dedicated reformer studio with scheduled classes. The supplied studio interior shows the equipment-centered layout associated with the brand, rather than a rendering of the Georgetown space.

The proposed 2,214-square-foot footprint also falls within the 1,500- to 2,500-square-foot range JETSET describes for most studios in its franchise information.

Bluebonnet Plaza Adds a Boutique Fitness Use

Endeavor Real Estate Group’s property material describes Bluebonnet Plaza as an Academy Sports + Outdoors-anchored development with more than 47,000 square feet across roughly 11 acres. It sits along West University Avenue near Wolf Ranch Parkway, adjacent to Wolf Ranch Town Center.

The supplied site plan depicts a mix of shop buildings and pad sites, with brands including Paris Baguette, Mountain Mike’s Pizza and Tomlinson’s. Those labels show the development’s tenant mix; the plan alone does not establish that every business is open.

JETSET would add boutique fitness to that restaurant, retail and service cluster in an established Georgetown shopping corridor. The plan does not identify a specific JETSET suite.

A New Studio Inside a Newer Retail Shell

An earlier state registration for Bluebonnet Plaza Shops 2 identifies 1314 W. University Ave. and a 15,050-square-foot retail shell. That approximately $1 million project carried an April–October 2025 construction schedule; the record now shows inspection complete.

The shell-building history helps explain the current scope: JETSET’s project would finish interior space for a studio within an existing building.

There is an address discrepancy to note. Although the new construction filing lists 310 W. University Ave., JETSET’s official Georgetown page identifies its coming studio at 1314 W. University Ave., the address development records associate with Bluebonnet Plaza Shops 2.

JETSET Pilates Georgetown Construction Schedule

The new registration, TABS2027002328, describes interior partitions and mechanical, electrical and plumbing modifications. It lists no structural or storefront modifications. The filed schedule runs from November 1, 2026, through February 1, 2027.

The filing names OP III GTX Bluebonnet Plaza, Ltd. as owner, Dan Frey as owner contact and Square One Franchise Architecture of Oakland Park, Florida, as design firm. It marks the work as not tenant-funded.

Michael Zennedjian appears as tenant contact. JETSET’s 2025 corporate real-estate announcement identified him as vice president of real estate and construction, connecting the filing to the company’s development operation without establishing local franchise ownership.

February 1, 2027, remains a filed construction-completion estimate, not a confirmed opening date. For now, Georgetown’s Coming Soon listing and the Bluebonnet Plaza buildout mark the next chapter of an expansion the Miami-founded brand began signaling locally in 2024.
