Western boots and thrift-store finds could soon give Fulshear shoppers two more reasons to stop along FM 1093. Boot Barn and Goodwill are named in plans for a new retail building at 26720 FM 1093, near the existing LA Fitness and The Crossing at Katy-Fulshear.
The Boot Barn Fulshear project would add two distinct shopping options to a commercial corridor that continues filling in with everyday destinations. Together, the retailers are associated with a planned 30,311-square-foot building.

Boot Barn Fulshear Could Mark a Local Debut
The project appears to represent Boot Barn’s first Fulshear location, based on the retailer’s current official store directory. The chain specializes in western wear and workwear, including boots, hats and apparel.
Goodwill would bring a different shopping experience to the same project. Its resale model centers on donated goods, while Goodwill Houston connects shopping and donations with employment services. A first-to-Fulshear claim has not been established for Goodwill.
Another Retail Addition Near The Crossing
For readers familiar with the area, LA Fitness is a useful landmark. Existing development information places the gym in this same commercial area near The Crossing at Katy-Fulshear, where large stores and smaller retail spaces already draw shoppers along FM 1093.
For the Boot Barn Fulshear project, the broader site plan helps explain the surrounding shopping, dining and fitness mix. However, it does not label the proposed Boot Barn and Goodwill spaces or confirm their individual layouts.
