The latest Stop N Go Gyro San Antonio expansion plans place another restaurant at City Base Commons, bringing the concept to an established shopping and dining stop in the broader Brooks area.
The restaurant is planned for 2314 SE Military Road, Suite 109. It would take over an existing restaurant space, giving the brand a new setting along the busy Southeast Military corridor.
Stop N Go Gyro already has a San Antonio-area presence, including its established Babcock/Medical Center operation. City Base Commons represents continued expansion across the city, with additional development activity also tied to Potranco Road.
A Mediterranean Meal With Plenty of Flavor
The appeal starts with a familiar choice: a gyro for a handheld lunch, shawarma when the craving calls for something savory, or a chicken or beef plate for a fuller meal. Salads and sides round out a halal Mediterranean menu that offers more than one way to build an order.

For South Side diners, the useful change is a new Mediterranean option closer to their own shopping and dining routines. Rather than building a separate restaurant from the ground up, the concept would adapt a space already used for food service.
Plans cover 1,110 square feet, with selective demolition, a new interior layout, updated finishes and mechanical, electrical and plumbing changes. The registered construction scope is valued at $300,000.
Stop N Go Gyro Continues Its Texas Expansion
The Stop N Go Gyro San Antonio project is part of a broader expansion picture. Public records also show development activity associated with the concept on Potranco Road and in Saginaw and McKinney. Those projects indicate growth plans, rather than a verified count of restaurants already serving customers.
At City Base Commons, the registered construction schedule runs from October 2026 through March 2027. That is a work schedule, not an announced opening date.
