Waco’s beauty shoppers have another stop to look forward to. Sephora Waco plans bring a 6,500-square-foot store to Central Texas Marketplace at 4633 South Jack Kultgen Expressway, with a $750,000 interior build-out scheduled for 2027.
For shoppers who enjoy finding a new fragrance, refreshing their makeup bag or browsing skincare, the beauty retailer brings plenty of reasons to linger. The planned location adds to the mix at one of Waco’s major shopping destinations.
Makeup, skincare and a little discovery
Sephora brings makeup, skincare, fragrance and haircare together under one roof. Its assortment spans everyday beauty staples, gift sets and miniature products for shoppers who want to try something new.
That variety is part of the appeal: a trip might start with replacing a favorite product and turn into exploring a different scent or shade. The brand also carries its own Sephora Collection alongside other beauty labels.
Sephora Waco plans add another beauty stop
The name is already familiar locally through Sephora at Kohl’s in Waco at 2708 West Loop 340. The new Sephora Waco plans place an additional store along South Jack Kultgen Expressway.
Central Texas Marketplace gives the project a setting built around a full shopping trip, with clothing, home goods and beauty retailers in the surrounding center. For local customers, that means another place to browse while making their regular rounds.

Sephora is part of a broader wave of retail plans along this stretch of South Jack Kultgen Expressway. MySA reported plans for Nordstrom Rack at 4633-106 South Jack Kultgen Expressway, with a 28,847-square-foot build-out. Together, the two projects add beauty and fashion to the area’s next wave of retail plans.
Central Texas Marketplace serves shoppers near Interstate 35 and Loop 340. DLC’s listing for a portion of the center highlights retailers including Kohl’s, Belk, Ross, Marshalls and HomeGoods. The Sephora Waco project would add another specialty retailer to that shopping mix.
Sephora Waco construction timeline
Construction on the Sephora Waco space is scheduled to begin February 15, 2027, and finish May 17, 2027, according to the state filing. An opening date has not been announced.
The $750,000 project will finish out existing retail space, with Bergmeyer Associates serving as the listed architect. For Waco shoppers, the result is a planned new destination for their next beauty restock—or a little browsing along the way.
