A new AutoZone on County Road 5000 is planned for the Cleveland area, adding another auto-parts destination on property owned by Colony Ridge Development, LLC. A state registration lists a 7,831-square-foot store at 1067 County Road 5000 with an estimated construction cost of $937,026.
The filing schedules construction from May 19, 2026, through October 21, 2027. Those are the registered construction dates; they do not establish an opening day or confirm how much work has occurred on site.
AutoZone on County Road 5000: The Building Plans
The project is registered as AutoZone #11410 under TABS2027001055. Its scope describes new mercantile construction, meaning a retail building, rather than a renovation of an existing store.
AutoZone Parts, Inc. is listed as the design firm, and Colony Ridge Development is identified as the property owner. The filing describes the work as privately funded on private land. It does not provide a site plan or identify a drive-through, repair bays or other special features.
A Separate Store From the Existing Colony Ridge Location
The planned AutoZone on County Road 5000 has a different address and store number from the existing location at 40 County Road 3570. AutoZone’s official store page identifies that operating location as #5777.
That distinction matters because Colony Ridge previously announced an AutoZone near Santa Fe Plaza and Family Dollar. The new registration identifies #11410 on County Road 5000, so the earlier announcement should not be treated as an opening update for this project.
Parts and Supplies for Everyday Vehicle Care
AutoZone’s product lineup includes batteries, brakes, motor oil, filters, windshield wipers and headlights. Those essentials serve drivers handling routine maintenance, replacing worn parts or preparing for a repair.

For the planned AutoZone on County Road 5000, the local appeal is access to those supplies along a road that already serves everyday shopping needs. The new filing adds automotive retail to that picture.
County Road 5000 Already Has a Retail Landmark
Colony Ridge announced the opening of a DG Market at 947 County Road 5000 in September 2024. Its announcement described groceries, fresh produce, meats and household merchandise available at that store.
The proposed AutoZone shares the same road, giving readers an established business to use as a general location reference. Its filed address remains 1067 County Road 5000; the available information does not establish that the two properties are directly adjacent.
