Missouri City, start thinking about your wing order now. Bone-in or boneless? Buffalo or Korean BBQ? Ranch or blue cheese? And if somebody at the table orders Dirty Fries for everyone and then starts guarding them like personal property, well, that is a problem for another day.
Missouri City is getting a new Wingbay at 8027 Highway 6, Suite 250 in Oyster Creek Commerce. The Texas wing concept is preparing a compact new restaurant built around the part people actually care about: crispy chicken, bold sauces and enough flavor combinations to make ordering take longer than expected.
Wingbay does not exactly believe in boring chicken
Wingbay describes itself as a destination for halal-certified wings and tenders, with flavors ranging from classic Buffalo to Korean BBQ and plenty of sweet, savory and spicy territory in between.
The menu lets diners mix flavors across bone-in or boneless wings, while crispy tenders get the same saucy treatment. A 10-piece combo can carry two flavors. Bigger orders open the door to even more, which means one person can chase heat while somebody else stays safely in the sweet-and-savory lane.
And then there are the fries
This is where the innocent plan to “just grab some wings” starts falling apart. Wingbay serves seasoned fries, cheese fries and Buffalo Ranch Fries. Then there are Dirty Fries: Cajun-seasoned fries loaded with warm cheese sauce and ranch.
If that still is not enough, Cajun Fried Corn brings crispy sweet corn tossed in signature Cajun seasoning. Add ranch, blue cheese, honey mustard or cheese sauce for dipping, and suddenly the side order is competing pretty hard with the wings for attention.
A growing Houston-area wing brand lands on Highway 6
Wingbay already operates across the Houston area, with locations serving communities including Katy, Richmond, Spring and several Houston neighborhoods. Missouri City extends that footprint into another busy Fort Bend County corridor.
The Highway 6 location should also fit the brand’s pickup-and-delivery-heavy style. Wingbay promotes dine-in, takeout and delivery, while larger wing bundles climb all the way to 100 pieces for game days, parties or the friend group that dramatically underestimated everyone’s appetite.
Small restaurant, big appetite
The physical project is relatively small: an interior build-out of a 1,101-square-foot shell space at Oyster Creek Commerce. Construction is currently planned from October 2026 through February 2027, with an estimated cost of $180,000.
But nobody is going to Highway 6 because they are excited about 1,101 square feet of tenant improvements. They are going because somebody mentioned crispy wings, Korean BBQ, Dirty Fries and Cajun Fried Corn and now dinner plans have changed.
Missouri City, consider this your warning: Wingbay is coming, and showing up hungry seems like the appropriate response.
