A new 7-Eleven is planned near West Eldorado Parkway and Lakewood Village Drive in the Little Elm area, bringing another convenience store to a corridor that serves both Little Elm and the lakeside community of Lakewood Village.
State construction records identify the project as store 42844, a new 4,825-square-foot convenience store with an estimated construction cost of $950,000. Work is currently scheduled to begin December 28, 2026, with completion targeted for July 30, 2027.
A new stop along the Eldorado Parkway corridor
The intersection places the project along a heavily used east-west route connecting communities around Lewisville Lake. Lakewood Village highlights Eldorado Parkway as one of the town’s primary connections toward I-35E and the Dallas North Tollway, making the corridor an important link for residents traveling between the lake, Little Elm and the broader North Texas road network.
The new store is being developed by Vaquero Eldorado Partners, according to the state filing. The filing identifies the project as ground-up construction rather than a remodel or conversion of an existing convenience store.
7-Eleven continues its North Texas presence
7-Eleven has long maintained a major presence across North Texas, with stores offering fuel, drinks, snacks and grab-and-go food. Shoppers can browse the company’s current network through the official 7-Eleven store locator.
This project stands out less as a new brand entering the region and more as another piece of commercial growth along Eldorado Parkway. The nearby Town of Lakewood Village describes itself as a growing lakeside community while emphasizing the residential character south of Eldorado Parkway, putting new commercial activity along the corridor in a particularly visible position for local residents.
Construction planned into summer 2027
The current construction schedule gives the project roughly seven months from its planned late-December start through completion at the end of July 2027. Once complete, the nearly 4,900-square-foot store will add another convenience option near the entrance to Lakewood Village and along the growing Eldorado Parkway corridor.
