Gun Barrel City is getting a new place to fuel up.
7 Brew Coffee is planning its first location in the city, bringing the fast-growing drive-thru coffee chain to 153 W Main Street.
The new coffee stand will be built from the ground up along one of Gun Barrel City’s main commercial corridors. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in January 2027.
A Small Building With a Big Menu
Don’t let the size of this project fool you.
Plans call for a building of just 541 square feet. However, that tiny footprint is part of what makes 7 Brew different from a traditional coffee shop.
The company skips the large dining room and focuses almost entirely on its drive-thru operation. That allows 7 Brew to serve a surprisingly large menu from a relatively small stand.
Coffee remains at the center of the menu, with options ranging from mochas and lattes to cold brew. Customers can also choose from teas, smoothies, shakes, lemonades, flavored sparkling waters and 7 Energy drinks.
Customization is a big part of the experience, too. With different flavors and combinations available, 7 Brew says customers can create more than 20,000 different drinks.
7 Brew Continues Its Rapid Expansion
7 Brew got its start with a single drive-thru stand in Rogers, Arkansas, in 2017.
Since then, the brand has grown at a remarkable pace. The company now operates more than 800 stands across 38 states, making its small drive-thru buildings an increasingly familiar sight across the country.
Gun Barrel City will now become part of that expansion.
The location also puts 7 Brew directly along West Main Street, where several other coffee and beverage businesses already operate. That includes Starbucks, HTeaO and locally owned coffee options in the surrounding area.
For customers, that means another choice is joining an already competitive stretch of town.
What’s Planned for Gun Barrel City
The Gun Barrel City project carries an estimated construction cost of $1.25 million.
Construction is currently scheduled to begin January 4, 2027, with completion targeted for June 30, 2027. Plans describe the project as a new prefabricated, drive-thru-only coffee shop.
An official opening date has not been announced.
Still, the project gives Gun Barrel City residents a pretty good idea of what’s coming next to West Main Street.
Soon, the biggest question may not be whether you’re stopping for coffee.
It may be figuring out which of those 20,000 combinations you’re ordering.
